Sunday, September 24th is an opportunity to practice meditation and have forest time together.
Ayya Niyyānika is in a Vassa Dwelling on Bainbridge Island with a lovely meditation garden and next to the Grand Forest. They have found the environment ideal for meditation and would like to share time and space with other practitioners in a meditation daylong.
Bainbridge Island can be accessed by ferry from Seattle or from the Olympic Peninsula by a bridge on Highway 305. Arrival can be anytime after 9:30 am. The official program will be 10 am-3:30 pm, but feel free to join and depart at any time between 9:30 am and 6:30 pm.

The schedule is flexible and may be something like:
9:30 am first arrivals
10 am welcome and space for “letting go of the external to relax into the internal”
10:30 am brief practice guidance
11:30 am meal dana offering and reflection with Ayya Niyyānika and silent meal for all

Afternoon individual and/or group practice
1:00 pm (optional) guided meditation
1:45 pm (optional) mindful movement
2:30 pm (optional) practice reflection
3:15 pm (optional) closing dedication and sharing of merits

Post retreat transition time
3:45 pm post-retreat transition time – into the forest walk and sit
5:30 pm evening tea
